POPULAR Warrington restaurant Mr Lau’s welcomed primary school students through its doors to celebrate Chinese New Year.
The family-run eatery in the Cultural Quarter of town invited children from Sacred Heart Primary School to enjoy and afternoon of food-tasting – pulling out all the stops.
Not only were the reception class and staff treated to an authentic Chinese meal each, they also watched a traditional lion dance be performed in the restaurant.

This was all topped off by a goody bag for each pupil curtesy of Mr Lau’s.
Reception teacher at Sacred Heart, Samantha Lomax, spoke of the fun event, saying: “Mr Laus invited us to celebrate Chinese New Year.
“The children had an authentic Chinese meal, watched the lion dance and received a goody bag.
“They went above and beyond for us, and we are so thankful that they gave our children a one-of-a-kind experience.”
