POLICE were called to the scene of a crash which saw a car career down an embankment.
The accident occurred on Friday evening, with police capturing the scene in a photo.
The car, a white Citroen, left the carriageway on Skyline Drive, near industrial units at Omega close to the M62.
Thankfully, the driver of the car did not report any injuries.
A spokesman for Cheshire Police said: “At 6.09pm on Friday, February 9, police were called to reports of a collision on Skyline Drive, Warrington.
“Officers attended and found a white Citroen DS3 DSign had gone down an embankment.
“There were no reports of any injuries and no arrests were made.”
The force’s special constabulary team added on social media on Friday: “Our first grade one 999 incident of the evening was in Warrington for a road traffic collision which was a vehicle leaving the carriageway.
“Be careful out and about this evening. The roads are not the best with surface water. Most importantly, the driver was ok.”
