POLICE were reported at a Warrington leisure centre over the weekend.
Cheshire Police officers attended Winwick Leisure Centre on Saturday morning following reports of a break-in during the early hours of the morning.
A burglary investigation was launched after the offender forced entry to the premises.
The investigation remains ongoing, and anyone with information is asked to call the police.
A spokesman for Cheshire Police said: “At 2.37am on Saturday 10 February police were called to reports of a burglary at Winwick Leisure Centre.
“Officers attended and found an unknown person forced entry into the premises, although no items had been stolen.”
The spokesman added that enquiries are ongoing, and anyone with any information is asked to call Cheshire Police on 101, quoting IML 1753703, or visit cheshire.police.uk/tell-us
