FIREFIGHTERS from Lymm rescued a person who had fallen down an embankment near the River Weaver in Northwich.
The alarm was raised at 6.40pm last night, Saturday.
Firefighters used a long board to lift the casualty to safety, before handing them over to the care of paramedics.
Two fire engines from Runcorn and Lymm dealt with the incident.
