A PUB undergoing a major internal refurb has teased photos from behind the scenes.
The Rope and Anchor in Woolston closed its doors last month ahead of work commencing to renovate the venue.
The extensive redesign will see around £450,000 spent on the pub to safeguard its future and both maintain and attract custom.
This is not the first time the pub has temporarily closed its doors in recent months, with the watering hole briefly shutting down last year.
At the time, this was because the pub had been on the market for a number of months and had not been snapped up.
However, the new management team took over and the pub reopened in time for Christmas – though the new landlords posted on social media explaining that there would be a refurbishment coming.
Posting on social media, the pub said: “Work is well on the way. We cannot wait to welcome you all back to the Rope and Anchor soon.”
