A MAKEOVER is in the works and 'coming soon' at a popular Warrington pub.
The Dog and Partridge pub in Paddington has teased renovations to its internal and external areas.
Posting on social media, the pub off Manchester Road has revealed impressions of some of the work customers can expect going forward.
It appears the pub will be undergoing something of a rebrand, with new colour schemes and logos depicted.
Externally, a mood board proposes fixed wooden seating and outdoor TV screens, as well as a covered pergola, beer barrel tables and planters.
An internal mood board teases new carpets, tiling, paint, wallpaper, flooring and furniture.
In December, the pub had plans approved to build a raised deck and timber pergola, as well as to redecorate the existing decking to the front.
Documents submitted as part of the application stated: “The proposal aims to revamp the external beer garden and create a new covered external pergola for external seating.
“The proposal is part of a rebrand from Greene King and its Hive pub brand which aims to attract new customers to the venue.”
Plans went on to say: “The proposed works are to enhance existing customer facilities and staff operation, in order to help facilitate the ongoing economic viability of this existing and well-established operation.”
Last month, The Dog and Partridge also applied to demolish an unsafe and redundant outbuilding.
