AN inspirational six-year-old boy who is passionate about protecting wildlife has worked tirelessly to clean up the streets of Cinnamon Brow.

Young Theodore Buzzard has been out each week picking up litter in a bid to make the community a clean and safe environment for wildlife to live and grow in.

Combining his desire to clean the community and to fundraise money for his beloved Crosfields rugby team, he set himself a litter picking challenge.

Theodore made a goal to litter pick for four weeks on the trot to raise as much money as he could for his club.

After successfully completing the challenge six-year-old has now arranged for his teammates to do one big litter pick at the club grounds this Sunday – a club clean up.

Impressively, Theodore has so far raised £320 of his £1000 target to help his team fund the new seasons training and match day kits and equipment and he’s determined to hit his target.

Commenting on his recent challenge and continued community efforts, he said: “The wildlife is more important than me just having fun all weekend.”
