A MAN from Manchester has been named after being charged with multiple shoplifting offences in Warrington.
It comes following a successful CCTV appeal launched by Cheshire Police of a man officers wished to speak to.
Detectives were tasked with investigating several reports of shoplifting at the Co-op store on Knutsford Road in Latchford over recent months.
Heathcliffe Dunning was arrested yesterday, Monday, in relation to a number of offences in the Warrington area.
The 53-year-old, of Rose Hill in Denton, has since been charged with eight counts of shoplifting – seven in Warrington and one in Macclesfield.
Dunning has been released on conditional bail and is set to appear before Warrington Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, March 13.
