A SHOPPING centre has been reunited with dozens of shopping trolleys taken off-site.
Birchwood Shopping Centre took part in a community litter pick in the area on Thursday.
The operation was centred around retrieving shopping trolleys reported dumped in and around the area after being stolen.
The centre is urging customers not to leave the site with shopping trolleys going forward.
Posting on social media, Birchwood Shopping Centre said: “Another successful day on Thursday, when the shopping centre team and our service partners took part in another community litter pick.
“As you can see, we focused on returning abandoned shopping trollies and we collected 23.
“Please do not take trollies off-site. It is your community you are blighting.”
