INTERIOR work is being completed at a cigar store ahead of its opening in Colwyn Bay.

Supreme Cigars will open in around two weeks at the old Duckworths tobacco shop site in the popular seaside town.

The business is owned by Jozef Slebodník, who already runs the successful Supreme Cigars store on Sankey Street in Warrington.

Supreme Cigars will stock a wide range of premium handmade cigars from Cuba, Nicaragua, the Dominican Republic, Honduras and Mexico, as well as pipes, pipe tobacco, cigar accessories and other luxury gift sets.

Hoping to open the store at the beginning of February, work is under way on the interior decoration of the site, with Jozef telling the Pioneer it was a “proper mess” at present.

He said: “I would like to bring same business model to Colwyn Bay as Warrington.

“As you can see, new sign boards are already on and we aiming to open in the beginning of February.”

Jozef added that they were just finishing painting the site, and was “looking forward” to seeing customers when the store opened.
