TEMPERATURES are continuing to plummet in the town, with a yellow weather warning for snow and ice still in place.
The warning is in place until tomorrow, Thursday, and came into force yesterday, Tuesday, when the town woke up to snow.
The Met Office says that a mixture of sleet, snow, and ice could cause travel disruption and that there is a small chance of injury from slips and falls on icy surfaces.
Forecasters also say that there is a small chance that untreated pavements and cycle paths could become impassable while there is also a small chance of travel delays on roads, with some stranded vehicles and passengers.
This evening, temperatures are expect to drop to -3C.
