A CONVENIENCE store in Warrington remains closed for safety reasons.
Residents have reported that the Morrisons Daily store on Lovely Lane has been shut for a number of days.
There are two Morrisons Daily stores on the road, with the affected one being the shop near to the crossroads with Folly Lane, Lodge Lane and Bewsey Road.
The close came after a vehicle collided with one of the building walls, causing structural damage.
A spokesman for Morrisons confirmed that work is ongoing to repair the damage safely before the store reopens.
They said in a statement: “We are completing the required safety checks and remedial building work to repair the damage following a vehicle collision.
“We hope to open again soon when it is safe to do so.”
