A WARRINGTON coffee shop chain will be opening its latest venue in Birkenhead.

The Coffee House, a local, independent coffee shop chain, will be opening this February at Pyramids Shopping Centre at 8 St Johns Pavement in between Age UK and The A World.

The brand was founded in 2011 by brothers Chris and Stephen Shelmerdine and is dedicated to changing the way people eat, drink, and relax in their local communities.

Co-founder Chris Shelmerdine said: “We are really looking forward to offering our quality products and introducing our new, friendly team to the community of Birkenhead in February 2024.

“We are passionate about creating a relaxing customer experience and believe we will offer something different with our hand-roasted coffee, freshly baked cakes and range of food.”

From the bean to cup, the coffee is roasted in their Warrington-based, central production facility, along with their range of cakes, baked by their team.

The coffee shop will also offer a wide range of food, from breakfast muffins, toasties and paninis, to wraps, sandwiches and salads.

Each store features a signature interior design with exclusive wall murals that pay homage to each location.

There are stores in Lymm and Golden Square.

The Birkenhead store will also house a bespoke wooden counter, handmade by the brothers' father, industrial-style furnishings, ambient lighting, and comfortable seating to create a modern and relaxing environment.

Les Lyon, Centre Manager at The Pyramids, said: “We are delighted to welcome the Coffee House and their team to Birkenhead Town Centre and wish them every success.”
