MOUNTAINS of rubbish have been dumped in a village car park following the festive period.
This picture shows the state of the recycling bins which are located in The Forge car park in Stockton Heath.
The bins themselves are overflowing and it appears that instead of people taking their cardboard back home or to another recycling bank, they are just leaving it to pile up in front of the bins.
Back in November, they were found in a similar state amid the bin strikes.
On the council website, the bins at The Forge are referred to as a ‘local recycling bank’.
They are designed to be a place where residents can drop items to be recycled.
