A POPULAR card shop reopened just in time for Christmas.
The ‘well loved’ Card Express Warrington, located on Sankey Street, closed down in September.
Selling cards for all occasions, balloons and special gifts, the shop was a go-to spot for residents.
Closure of the town centre store also resulted in many of the staff who worked there being made redundant.
However, only recently it was announced the card shop had been bought out by a new owner.
The same staff were given their jobs back and the doors of the shop reopened, to the delight of locals, just over a month before Christmas - in late November.
Resident, Jane Harper said: “Many people around town have been delighted that the shop reopened late November just in time for Christmas, with lots of new stock and cheaper prices than before.”
If you are that person that is late to the party each year and leaves everything until the week before Christmas, there is still time to purchase your Christmas cards.
