THERE are a number of offers on the table for various units in the Golden Square – including Wilko.
New operators could be moving into the former Wilko site as soon as the new year.
Shutters came down on the store for the final time in September after the business slipped into administration in August.
There are also talks under way to fill other units.
These include Vintage Viola, which the Warrington Guardian understands could be turned into an entertainment venue, as well as the former Flanagan’s Irish Bar which was based at Old Market Place.
Last week, the Warrington Guardian also reported that talks are under way with potential occupies for the former Debenhams store in Golden Square.
It is understood that shopping centre bosses are in the middle of discussions with a number of interested occupiers.
