HEAVY traffic is being reported on Winwick Road this afternoon, Tuesday.
It comes following a collision that was reported to Cheshire Police at around 3.30pm.
According to the AA's route planner, there is still heavy traffic on the route, with drivers told to expect delays.
Speaking to the Warrington Guardian, a Cheshire Police spokesperson said: "At 3.32pm on Tuesday, December 5, police were called to reports of a collision on Winwick Road, Warrington.
"The collision involved an ambulance driving on blue lights and a Land Rover.
"There are believed to be reports of minor injuries."
