MORE than 80 stalls will set up in the centre of Warrington for a Christmas market extravaganza.

Time Square will see the Makers Market return once again in what is expected to be a festive treat for visitors to the town centre.

The markets will take place over two days, giving everyone the chance to enjoy the markets in Time Square.

Speaking ahead of the event, which will take place on Saturday, December 9 and Sunday, December 10, the organisers of the market said: "Unwrap the magic of Christmas in Warrington at our festive Warrington Christmas Makers Market, this Saturday and Sunday.

"Immerse yourself in the enchantment with 70 small businesses per day, a visit from the naughty Grinch, and the man himself - Father Christmas.

"Picture this: live Christmas music, free Christmas crafting for kids, and an actual Christmas train for the little ones."
