IT will happen in the blink of an eye - two explosions lasting just one second and four of Fiddler's Ferry cooling towers will be razed to the ground.
The iconic landmark's four towers will be demolished tomorrow, Sunday, December 3, sometime between 8am and 12 noon.
Fiddler’s Ferry closed back in March 2020 after nearly 50 years and the site will be transformed over the next ten years.

It has been earmarked for housing and industrial use.
