A WOMAN’S body was found near a hotel in Warrington.
An inquest has been opened into the death of a woman from Northumberland.
She was found by a member of the public near to Statham Lodge Hotel on Warrington Road, Lymm, on November 11.
Police were called shortly after 8am, with the woman pronounced dead at the scene. There were no suspicious circumstances.
The woman, who lived in Blyth in Northumberland, was 41 at the time of her death.
Senior Coroner Jacqueline Devonish opened an inquest into her death at Cheshire Coroner’s Court on Wednesday (November 22).
A case review will take place on January 21 ahead of the full inquest on February 14, 2024.
