ARTISAN markets will return to Great Sankey this weekend.

Almost 50 stalls will descend on the Woodlands pub on Saturday, November 18.

The markets are coordinated by Independent Street, and are regularly held across Warrington in communities like Great Sankey and Birchwood.

Lisa Cowley, from Independent Street, said: "With festive treats overflowing, unique gift ideas, hot drinks to warm those cockles and festive cheer a-plenty, come along and join us."

There will also be a donation drop-off point for a local foodbank at this weekend's market, too.

Live music will also be at the market for shoppers to enjoy.

The markets are being hosted in association with Great Sankey Parish Council, as well as the Woodlands pub and Independent Street.

As well as being dog-friendly, the markets are also free to enter.

The Great Sankey artisan markets will take place on Saturday, November 18, between 10am-4pm at the Woodlands, off Liverpool Road.
