A POPULAR Halloween lights trail in Warrington has been confirmed to be returning in 2024.
Patridge Lakes Fishery was the site of a spectacular lights trail held over the spooky season, and as a result of its wild success, it will return next year.
The management team at the fishery say that next year's light trail will be 'bigger and better' than the 2023 display.
Fishery manager Barbara Ikin said: “I feel incredibly proud and grateful that as a small business, we have completed our first large-scale event and it’s been a huge success.
"It’s all credit to the small, dedicated team who have worked wonders.
"The visitor numbers have been astonishing and to have people travel from all over the country to the event was fantastic and unexpected.
“We are already looking at what elements and surprises can be added to enhance the experience further for next year.
"The feedback has been amazing, and we now feel encouraged to create even more seasonal events, so watch this space."
Patridge Lakes' trail was made possible as a collaboration between the fishery's management and marketing agency Morgan Digital.
Owner of the marketing agency, Callum Morgan, added: "Since Barbara took over Partridge Lakes and I started Morgan Digital we have worked together to help each other’s businesses grow.
"Barbara came up with the idea for the Halloween Lakeside Light Trail and kindly asked me to be involved to help put on her biggest event so far.
“Our 32-year friendship was certainly tested at points but by the end of the five weeks it’s all smiles as we look forward to planning next year’s event.”
