CARS are stopping to check out this horror house in Great Sankey, decked out with terrifying Halloween decorations.
Mark Whitfield has spent hundreds creating the perfect homage to the spooky holiday and locals are mesmerised by the display.
Ghouls can be seen protruding from the brick work of his home on Brook Way, while spiders and witches are in full view of the front garden.

Dad-of-three Mark has been dressing his house up like no other on the street every October for the past five years.
“It started out we had a few bits and bobs and then we got more and more every year.
“We love doing it. We get so much pleasure out of it. We see people walking past and pointing,” he said.
Mark admitted that this year alone the family have spent £200 on more decorations for both inside and outside the house.
He is now in possession of an estimated 50 some decorations, which include blow up pumpkins, ghouls, a witch, a gigantic spider and spiders web, coffins, zombies and clowns.
“Each of the big pieces are about £80 to £150 and I have five in my front room alone,” he said.
“They all do different things, some move, some make noises. The coffin rattles like there is someone in it.”
Because of the spectacle the house becomes in the weeks leading up to Halloween, he said the night itself attracts large numbers of trick-or-treaters.
“I have ordered 150 sweet bags this year,” he said. “From Saturday and Sunday this week that door will be knocked on. We absolutely love it.”
The family including Mark, his wife and three kids all get dressed up on the night.
Previous years mark has gone as the clown from IT and other well-known spooky characters but this year he is set to become Michael Myers from the iconic horror film Halloween.
“I do this just for fun,” he added. “Our house sticks out like a sore thumb.”
Next year Mark has even more big plans to decorate the sides of the house with ghosts coming out of the brick work and windows.
