MOTORISTS are facing long delays in Stockton Heath and Appleton due to temporary lights.
Utility work on Birchdale Road is causing queues on surrounding roads including London Road, Dingleway, Sandy Lane and East Avenue.
At rush hour this morning, queues were tailing back to Morrison's and up to Stretton in the other direction.
A three-way temporary light system is in place.
This is while gas and electricty work take place on Dingleway.
The work could take until Monday to be completed.
