At Beamont Collegiate Academy we pride ourselves on the standards and expectations we have on a daily basis. We have established a school culture where both students and staff recognise that only their very best efforts will do. The result of this is a school where students have access to a unique and innovative curriculum that covers a broad range of subjects and experiences.

At the school we place value not only in ensuring students leave highly qualified but having had a full range of experiences that test and develop their character making sure they are ready to live a fulfilling and purposeful life.

One of the things that I am most proud of is the emphasis and investment we place in continually improving our teachers. Teachers at BCA fully understand that to work in our school you need to invest time and energy in improving as a teacher. We see it as our professional obligation to improve. We know that having teachers who consistently challenge themselves and their colleagues to become better can only result in a positive educational experience for our students. The BCA teachers are wholly committed to improving themselves and improving the life chances of the students in their care.

With this is mind, it was pleasing to see the school once again judged as “good” in our most recent inspection in July 2022. This is the second consecutive “good” OfSTED judgement for the school and is a reflection of our relentless focus on providing the best education for our students. The inspection team were particularly impressed with the quality of our curriculum, the focus we have on the personal development and growth of our students and the quality of our careers education.

In the summer of 2023, we were delighted to see students once again achieve a range of excellent results across the curriculum. It was particularly pleasing to see students perform above national benchmarks in a range of GCSE subjects including English, maths and science. This latest set of excellent results are a reflection of the high quality teaching and culture of achievement that students have access to each day.

I very much look forward to meeting you at our upcoming open evening and outlining how the school can support your child in the next stage of their education.
