A POPULAR scare attraction that attracts people from Warrington and beyond is returning this Halloween season.

Spooky World will once again take over the fields of Appleton Thorn.

And the recruitment process for scare actors for 2023 has already begun.

A spokesperson for Spooky World said: “We believe that it is a brilliant opportunity for people living in surrounding areas who perhaps want to try something new as we provide full scare acting training leading up to our opening.”

Applicants must be aged 16 and over and there is no age limit.

The Halloween attraction, set on a 40-acre plot off Stretton Road, launched in 2006 and is renowned for its intense ‘scary at night’ experience.

It is known for its ‘scary at night’ even which is for those aged 14 and over.

However there are other events held at the site for those aged 10-14+ and a daytime event for those aged between four and 11.
