THE Tesco petrol station on Winwick Road is set to close for almost two months.
The Warrington Guardian can confirm that the petrol filling station, situated on a major Warrington road, will be closed until early September, as the national supermarket carries out maintenance works.
Whilst the frequently busy petrol filling station is closed, the Tesco Express attached will remain open throughout this period.
A spokesperson for Tesco said: “We apologise for any inconvenience caused by the temporary closure of our Warrington Winwick Road Express petrol filling station.”
“This will reopen early September, after some essential maintenance works. The store is unaffected by the works and is trading as normal.”
