A THUG who was jailed for his part in a terrifying street brawl involving a machete has been ordered to spend more time behind bars.

Jack Davies was incarcerated for an incident of affray, but his spell of prison did not deter his tendency to offend.

While locked up in HM Prison Risley, the 25-year-old disgustingly threw urine over a prison officer.

He was subsequently charged with administering a noxious thing with intent to annoy and was sentenced at Liverpool Crown Court on Monday, April 24.

The court heard how Davies was serving time in the Warrington Road prison on March 23.

While behind bars that day, he ‘unlawfully and maliciously’ administered a noxious thing in the form of urine over a prison officer.

According to the charge he was convicted on, he did so ‘with intent to aggrieve or annoy’ the officer.

He was locked up at Bolton Crown Court in May last year after becoming involved in a street brawl in the Bolton area in the early hours of the morning.

The defendant is no stranger to the court and prison systems having also been jailed in November 2021 for shoplifting and assault.

On that occasion, he was told by magistrates in Manchester that he has a ‘flagrant disregard for people and their property’.

For his urine throwing offence, Davies, of Wesley Street in Westhoughton, was sentenced to an additional eight months imprisonment.
