THE Irish community will be coming together on Sunday in light of St Patrick’s Day.
A parade, which more than 100 people are expected to attend, will leave from Warrington Irish Club before a day of celebrations takes place.
But before the parade, a blessing will take place at the venue at 9.30am.
At 10.30am, the parade will head to the town centre to place a wreath at the River of Life on Bridge Street.
The procession will then head back to the Irish Club, which has stood in Warrington for more than 50 years, at around 11.10am where celebrations will begin.
A pipe band, Irish dancers, music and refreshments can be expected at the Orford Lane venue.
Everyone is welcome to join the celebrations to celebrate St Patrick’s Day which is on March 17.
