LIVE music is being used to raise vital funds for a currently 'unusable' skatepark in Lymm.

A live music event is being held on Friday, March 3, to help rejuvenate Lymm skatepark, which has fallen into disrepair as of late.

The event is described as 'an amazing night of live music, community spirit, and charity fundraising' by the organisers.

Friday's fundraiser is being organised by Iain Gurney and Lee Deavall, who help to manage the skatepark.

Lee told the Warrington Guardian: "The event is all about supporting the local youth by raising funds for the upgrade of an existing unusable skatepark.

"The cause is crucial to providing a safe and enjoyable space for the youth to skateboard and stay active."

Performing on the night will be rock band TicNoToc, who are 'an amazing rock band that's guaranteed to get the crowd pumped up and singing along.'

Lee added: "Their high-energy performances and catchy tunes have earned them a loyal following, and they're sure to make the night one to remember."

The project to breathe new life into Lymm skatepark is being supported by large portions of the community, including funding that has been released by Lymm Parish Council.

Lymm Round Table will also be providing beer and refreshments at the fundraiser.

The organisers added: "Come on down and show your support for the local youth while enjoying a night of entertainment and community spirit.

"The organisers, performers, and supporters are all committed to making a positive impact, and this is sure to be an event to remember.

"Tickets are available now at https://lymmskatepark.org, so don't miss out on the opportunity to make a difference in your community while enjoying an amazing rock band and more.

"See you there!"
