A POPULAR pizzeria in Stockton Heath has announced it will be closed this weekend.
Rudy's, based in the centre of the village, said a problem with the pizza oven would mean it will be shut all weekend.
A spokesman said: "Apologies for any inconvenience this may cause."
Launched in 2015 by couple Jim Morgan and Kate Wilson, the Manchester business was at the forefront of the Ancoats food and drink boom, and quickly gained cult status among pizza fans.
The Stockton Heath restaurant is the seventh in the chain.
The two-storey eaterie is in the former Barclays Bank in the Church Farm Shopping Precinct.
