POPULAR 90’s boy band 911 have released a new single today for the first time in almost a decade which has shot straight to number one on YouTube.

Warrington-born singer in the group, Simon Dawbarn, from Orford, known to most as Spike, announced the exciting news on his social media – with the reaction being so far ‘incredible’.

In a completely new collaboration no one could have guessed, the band have teamed up with successful Vietnamese singer, Duc Phuc for the love song, titled Em Đồng Ý (I Do).

First released back in 2013 when the band brought out new music off the back of their appearance on X-Factor, I Do was well received, but with the added vocals of Duc Phuc, the song has taken off once again.

The heart-warming music video shows couples building up to the moment where one will say I do and in a timely manner the song has been released in the run up to Valentine’s Day, next Tuesday.

In a recent post this morning since the song went live the band said: “The video is currently trending at number one on YouTube with over one million views in 14 hours and the single is currently sitting at number two on iTunes.”

Fans of the group were equally as ecstatic by the news of their return with one commenter saying, ‘the song is amazing, and video is, well done’, while another said ‘Love this. I had the original I do at mine and hubby's wedding for our first dance’.

While Duc Phuc rose to fame in Vietnam after his stint on the country’s version of The Voice back in season three of the show in 2015, which he went on to win.
