LAST night we saw the climax of what has to be the most outrageous prank in Big Brother history.

As with everything in Big Brother these days the housemates are too aware of the game for tricks like this to pay off. They know about the secret missions and are constantly on the lookout for the latest mole. The housemates had Steph and Mario sussed from the beginning - surprising really considering what a 'happy couple' they made....

The wedding was doomed from the start. Along with the fact that Mario clearly made Steph retch if he came within two feet of her was their theory that having a few rows would make the relationship seem more realistic. Their row the morning of the wedding involved the groom accusing the bride of bullying a blind man because of his disability. A phrase which he continually repeated until my hand was reaching for the remote to stop him digging himself into the ground.. Now call me traditional but I really don't think this is the basis for a lifelong partnership.

Mario's comments were actually aimed at Alexandra who has bullied Mikey unashamedly for the last two days. Sadly for Mario, despite the fact that Alexandra has called Mikey every name under the sun and treated him like dirt, it was actually Mario's decision to cancel the wedding 'because of Mikey's disability' that drove him to tears. Uncomfortable viewing but it may have just secured Mikey his place in the final.

Despite the threats to cancel the big day the wedding went ahead. The housemates even got a chance to show off their singing 'talents' with an excruciating version of 'My Heart Will Go On'. At least we can safely say there won't be any rumours of a pop career for any of these lot.

Throughout the service Steph looked ever the blushing bride, even smiling at Mario and giving him a hug. Shame she couldn't have pulled this off earlier. Proof that a sparkly dress and a few bars of 'Here comes the Bride' can put a smile on even the sulkiest of faces.

Then came the part where the congregation are asked if they have any objections and Alexandra rose out of her seat and sqeaked out her disgust. I can only consider it proof that God is a Big Brother fan that he has taken away the voice of this dreadful woman. If she isn't booted out before her voice returns I will have to stop watching.

After the wedding the housemates were told that there was a secret couple living in the house. A few suggestions were passed around including Steph and St Helen's boy Dale but eventually Mario and Lisa were rumbled. The housemates took it well, including an obviously gutted Mikey. Mario went up in my estimations when he took Mikey aside and told him that their friendship is real, which obviously meant a lot to the Glaswegian.

So all is back to normal in the house and now it is time to focus on Friday's eviction. With Steph celebrating the fact she can 'be herself now' we may see a different side to her. If this sulky madam act is her true personality I think she will be out in a flash, but she has got a few days to win us round. I think Mario is in a strong position as he threw himself into the task and has formed such a close bond to possible favourite Mikey.

Lisa has been inoffensive so far. She seems to have fit in well with the 'bridesmaid' crew and I think has benefited from her few days as an individual. Now they are back as a couple I think they just need to keep away from any controversy and they will stay at the weekend.

Luke is growing on me as his excitement of being a housemate is quite endearing. His voice is even seeming less annoying.

As for my prediction of who will go on Friday I would love to be writing the name Alexandra here but her cynical attitude has unfortunately won her another week. So I'm going to go with Sulky Steph. If you don't play the game you can't win.
