TWO lanes of traffic are closed on the M56 eastbound going up to Lymm Interchange.
The incident took place after 7am on Monday and involved two cars and a van.
Two lanes out of three are closed from J10 A49 Tarporley Road, Stretton, to J9 M6 J20, Lymm Interchange.
Congestion is being reported from Junction 11.
According to Cheshire Fire Service, one person has been taken to hospital by ambulance.
