PLENTY of job vacancies will soon open at a leading UK food manufacturer based in Warrington, in the new year.
Greencore have announced they will be hosting a recruitment open day on January 11 to welcome potential candidates who wish to apply for the vacancies of the role of food production operative.
The manufacturers Warrington site is based on Grosvenor Grange in Woolston and produces Italian style microwavable meals that are distributed to major supermarkets all over the UK.
Currently employing more than 14,000 workers, the brand is continuing to expand and have said how the towns base has been ‘heavily invested’ into recently.
Greencore’s other manufacturing sites, 16 in total, produce a range of fresh and frozen food that is supplied to convenience and travel retail outlets, discounters, coffee shops, foodservice and other retailers.
Commenting on the upcoming event, Richard Martin, General Manager at Greencore Warrington said: “We have a proud history of producing great-tasting Italian inspired chilled ready meals at our site on Grosvenor Grange.
“In recent years we have invested heavily in the site and in developing our people.
“We are proud to be in the position where we can offer employment opportunities for people in our local community.
