TICKET prices in The Halliwell Jones Stadium’s South Stand have been reduced for Sunday’s Rugby League World Cup quarter-final between Tonga and Samoa.

The two Pacific giants collide at the home of Warrington Wolves this weekend in what has been billed as the game of the tournament so far, and fans have been eager to snap up tickets.

A trip to the tournament’s ticket website shows prices to stand on the South Stand terracing have been reduced from £40 to £25.

Warrington Guardian:

This is the same price as the West Stand terrace, which has been much more populated in the three games the HJ has hosted so far.

It is understood supporters who had purchased South Stand tickets at the previous price of £40 will have the difference refunded automatically.

The website shows Category D seated tickets in the North East corner and the southern-most end of the North Stand – also priced at £25 – have sold out.

Tickets for Sunday’s game, which kicks off at 2.30pm, are available on rlwc2021.com/tickets.
