TRAFFIC is moving again after a major police incident this morning.
Movement had been stopped in all directions on the A6144 due to an ongoing incident.
Vehicles were unable to join the road from J8 of the M60.
The incident took place on Carrington Lane, in Sale, and caused disruption to traffic moving out of Warrington.
Traffic was been stopped in both directions on Carrington Lane, as well as Banky Lane being shut to traffic, too.
North West Motorway Police announced the disruption to the M60 on Twitter.
The service said: "Due to a police incident, we have closed J8 onto Carrington Spur to all traffic, please find another route, also Banky Lane from A6144 is also closed."
