AS the cost of living crisis rumbles on, families across Warrington are feeling the strain on their budgets.

Different organisations are offering support for vulnerable individuals throughout winter and beyond, including Warrington Foodbank.

However, a number of outlets are offering free meals for children throughout the October half-term, or the option for kids to eat for £1.

Here's a roundup of some of the larger chains that are offering budget-friendly options for kids' food this half-term.

Winwick Quay - Winwick Road

Brewers Fayre locations are offering a deal that allows two children to eat for free when an adult purchases a full-priced breakfast.

Red Lion - Warrington Road

The Sizzling Pubs chain lets kids eat for just £1 when an adult buys a full-priced meal, and this is available every weekday from 3pm until 7pm.

Premier Inn

All Premier Inn locations have the same offer being run by Brewers Fayre sites - when an adult pays for a full-priced breakfast, up to two children are permitted to eat for free.

ASDA - Birchwood Shopping Centre, Cockhedge, Westbrook

Cafes at ASDA sites run a deal that allows kids to eat for just £1.

This deal runs all day, every day, not just during half-term.

Toby Carvery - Floyd Drive

Between Monday, October 24, and Friday, October 28, kids eat for £1 at Toby Carvery locations when a member of the group has the Toby Carvery app or has signed up for the newsletter.

Dunelm - Winwick Road

The Pausa Cafe sites within Dunelm locations give children a free meal whenever an adult spends £4 or more - perfect if you only fancy a coffee and a cake.

Frankie & Benny's - Westbrook

In a twist, Frankie & Benny's is allowing adults to eat for free when accompanied by a child.

Morrisons - Greenall's Avenue

Kids eat free at Morrisons cafe locations all day when an adult pays for food priced at £4.99 or more.

Tesco - Winwick Road

Tesco cafe sites allow kids to eat for free when a purchase is made in the company of an adult - a clubcard is required for this promotion.

M&S - Europa Boulevard

In a similar style to the Morrisons deal, kids eat for free when an adult pays for food in an M&S cafe that is £5 or over.

IKEA - Europa Boulevard

Available every day from 11am, kids can eat for as little as 95p at IKEA locations across the country, with no need of an adult purchase.

As with all promotions or deals, the sites reserve the right to change the conditions of the deals.
