YOUR opinions are needed to help secure the future of two of Newton's conservation areas.

St Helens Council is currently reviewing the High Street and Willow Park areas and has prepared a draft appraisal outlining management proposals to continue the protection and enhancement of the beauty spots.

Residents are encouraged to have their say during a six-week consultation, which will take place between June 3 and July 16.

An exhibition, outlining proposals, will be held at St Peter's Church community hall, High Street, on June 3 from 10am to 8pm.

A display of the exhibition will take place at Newton Library, on Crow Lane East, from June 4 to 18.

If you cannot attend the exhibits you can leave your views via the website: sthelens.gov.uk
