AFTER closing for two weeks, a popular Warrington chippy has reopened with a new look.
Fish Net has undergone an ‘immaculate’ refurbishment, both inside and outside.
Established four years ago, father and son owners Sava and Michael Mylona decided it was time for a revamp.
“It wasn’t a matter of if, it was a matter of when,” said Michael.
“It was something we were always going to consider doing anyway, but we just needed to wait for the right time to close the shop.”
So after winning the Warrington Guardian’s Best of Fish and Chips award, the family duo, originally from Cyprus, decided it was the perfect time to reopen with a new image.
Both interior and exterior changes have been made to Thelwall Lane chip shop.
Outside, a new step has been installed as well as flooring.
Meanwhile inside the shop, new flooring is in place as well as new tiles.
Fish Net also has a new ceiling with LED lights and has introduced electric menus.
Sava and Michael will also be adding a few items to the chippy’s menu.
Michael added: “We are more than happy with the new changes.
“The shop looks so bright and modern, it just looks immaculate.”
There are plans for some smaller renovations to the chip shop, however, no date is set yet.
And the duo also have plans to introduce new packaging – using paper and cardboard boxes.
The father and son hope customers will like the new changes and want to thank those who voted for them in the Best of Fish and Chips award.
