POLICE have charged a man with dangerous driving following a four-car crash in Orford.
A large police presence was reported on and in the vicinity of O’Leary Street late on Saturday evening, with residents reportedly hearing a large bang.
A young girl aged seven was taken to hospital following the collision for further checks, although her injuries are not life-threatening.
Officers arrested a 26-year-old man at the scene, and he has since been charged with dangerous driving.
A spokesman for Cheshire Police said: “At around 9.40pm on Saturday, August 13, police received reports of a collision between a black Ford Fiesta, a grey BMW 530d, a black BMW 316i and a white Nissan Duke on O’Leary Street, Warrington.
“A seven-year-old girl was taken to hospital for further checks. Her injuries are not life-threatening.
“A 26-year-old man was arrested and has subsequently been charged with dangerous driving.”
Ryan Langdon, of Cawthorne Avenue in Grappenhall, has been charged with one count of driving a motor vehicle dangerously.
The 26-year-old is due to appear at Warrington Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, September 7.
