A Love Island super fan was invited to style the hair of contestants at a top reunion show

Kayleigh, a salon owner from Padgate, landed the exciting job as hair stylist for two of the contestants on the ITV reunion show, aired August 7, after reaching out to a member of the cast.

Mollie, 23 caused a stir during her time in the villa having spent the most part flirting and kissing the now winner Davide before falling short at the following re-coupling, whilst Jazmine, 21, explored a connection with runner up, Andrew Le Page.

Describing how the whole cast and crew immediately put her at ease during the daunting experience, Kayliegh said: “I was pretty nervous before I went but they all made me feel so welcome.

“I spent a good couple of hours with them, meeting the cast members and ITV producers and I was not just helping them with hair styles but picking their whole outfits for them.”

She said: “I am a massive fan of the show so for me to watch them on telly then actually get to meet them was incredible, I loved every minute.”

The 29-year-old’s current salon located on Martin Avenue has been running for six years, successfully securing the award for ‘North West hair and beauty salon of the year’ in 2020.

Detailing the contestant, she enjoyed meeting the most at the glamorous ITV event, Kayliegh said: “My favourite was Mollie, she made me feel like we had known each other for years.”

Kayleigh hopes to offer her assistant to the show when it returns to our screens again next summer.
