TWO venues at Warrington’s Time Square leisure complex say they will be ‘closed today’.

But the future of both Gravity and Newton’s remains uncertain after fixtures were ripped out.

Photos taken of the Gravity unit this morning show the removal of the trampoline park and ‘Ninja Run’ obstacle course fixtures.

The same can be said of Newton’s, with bar fittings, tables and booth seating also absent.

The venues, which only opened in October 2020 and October 2021 respectively, are linked and share the same owner.

Both posted on social media and their websites: “Due to unforeseen circumstances, Newtons/Gravity will be closed today.

“If you have booked with us, we will contact you directly. Please accept our sincere apologies.”

Newton’s restaurant and bar offered an interactive and social venue, including darts and pool in a games area, serving cocktails alongside a New York themed menu.

Gravity meanwhile was a kid’s paradise, with 70 interconnected trampolines on the ground floor, as well as a giant inflatable obstacle course upstairs.

The Warrington Guardian has approached both Gravity and Newton’s, as well as Warrington Borough Council, which owns the complex, for statements.

A council spokesman said: “As the landlord, we are in discussions with the franchisor about the current situation.

"We are unable to comment any further at this stage.”
