AN air ambulance was called to the town centre this afternoon, Wednesday, after a child was injured.
North West Ambulance Service (NWAS) was called following reports of a child injured at Warrington Youth Zone.
An ambulance was also sent to Dallam Lane which then took the youngster to Alder Hey Children’s Hospital with a chest injury.
A spokesman for Warrington Youth Zone has confirmed a child had been injured following a fall but that they were being well supported by staff.
NWAS confirmed the air ambulance was dispatched but was later stood down as the patient was transported in a land ambulance.
