THE COST of living crisis is hitting us all in different ways, and going out for food is getting more and more expensive.
With the school summer holidays just around the corner, here are five places in Warrington where kids eat for less than £5, or even for free!
Morrisons - near Stockton Heath
At the Morrisons cafe, if you spend £4.99 or more on an adult's meal you can get a child's meal completely free of charge.
For every one adult meal, you can get one free child's meal too, but this cannot be used with any other offers, nor can it be used on any cafe specials.
IKEA - Westbrook
From July 11 until September 3, any child's meal from the menu is 95p - or you can buy a 'kids combination meal' for just £1.50.
The combination meal includes a hot meal, drink, piece of fruit, and jelly.
You don't need to purchase an adult's meal for the discounts to apply in the IKEA cafe.
ASDA - Birchwood
Kids eat for just £1 at the ASDA cafe throughout the kids' summer holidays, with this offer running from July 25 until September 4.
You can also get baby food pouches for children aged under 18 months with any purchase, as well as 10 per cent off for over-60s on a Wednesday.
Dunelm Pausa Cafe - Junction 9 Retail Park
For every £4 spent in Dunelm's in-house cafe, you can get one 'mini main,' two snacks, and one drink.
Food on offer at the Pausa cafe includes hot and cold sandwiches, cakes, coffees, and more.
The Winwick Quay - Winwick Road
All Brewers Fayre pubs and restaurants are letting under-16s eat for free at breakfast with one paying adult.
For every adult breakfast purchased, two under-16s get to eat for free, too.
At lunch and teatime, kids can enjoy the children's menu meal deal for just £4.99, as well.
Lots of other restaurants, cafes, and pubs will be offering their own deals, but these are just some of the ones available during the summer holidays!
