A DRIVER has seen his car seized by police after being stopped in Warrington.
The incident occurred overnight last night, Monday, with the motorist being arrested by officers from Cheshire Police’s Roads and Crime Unit.
The white Volkswagen Golf was initially pulled over due to it showing as being uninsured, which was confirmed following checks.
Officers conducted a drugs wipe on the driver, which was subsequently failed, with a quantity of cannabis reportedly being found within the vehicle.
The unit said: “Vehicle stopped in Warrington showing no insurance, and checks confirmed no insurance was held.
