TWO teenage men have been charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent.
The charges are in connection with an incident almost a year ago on July 11, 2021, which took place on London Road in Stockton Heath.
This saw a man suffer serious facial injuries in what police initially described as an ‘altercation’ close to Waterfields bakery.
He was taken to hospital in a serious but stable condition with a suspected broken jaw.
Cheshire Police has confirmed that two people have now been charged in connection with the incident.
Charlie Smith, aged 18 and of Kensington Avenue in Grappenhall, has been charged with grievous bodily harm with intent.
Joseph Malley, also 18 and of Walton Road in Stockton Heath, was also charged with grievous bodily harm with intent.
The pair are due to appear before Warrington Magistrates’ Court later today, Tuesday.
