A NEW restaurant is lined up to take over from Dough Dough in Golden Square.
Rio’s Brazilian Steakhouse has applied for the unit in the former pizzeria.
The all-you-can-eat grilled meats are carved at the table at the restaurants and there are salad bars too.
They are hoping to host live music in the venue.
The proposed move comes after the unit has been vacant following Dough Dough’s departure in late December 2021.
It opened in April of last year but closed less than a year later as owners were unable to confirm new lease terms on the unit.
The unit in Golden Square was also home to Prezzo before the closing in 2018.
