TICKETS for James’ gig at Parr Hall sold out in just 10 minutes.

The Manchester band will play a warm-up show at the iconic venue on Wednesday, June 29 to recognise the work of War Child – the charity for those affected by the war in Ukraine.

Tickets were in high demand as they sold out in around 10 minutes and a spokesperson for Pyramid and Parr Hall labelled James fans as ‘the best’.

On Facebook, a post read: “Wow, thanks for all your support. All we can say is James fans are the best because our ticket allocation for the band's gig in aid of War Child sold out in about 10 minutes.

“We can't wait to welcome you at the end of the month.”

Singer-songwriter Tim Booth, said: “We are happy to announce a benefit gig for War Child at Warrington’s Parr Hall on June 29, for their continued work with those affected by the war in Ukraine.”

James is no stranger to Warrington having played at Parr Hall in 1991 and 2018, as well as headlining Neighbourhood Weekender 2021.
