THREE boys aged as young as 12 were arrested this morning after a motorbike was stolen from outside a home.
Police received reports of the theft at an address on Moorside, off Grange Avenue in Latchford, at around 7am today, Monday.
Officers arrested a trio of youths - aged 12, 13 and 16 and from Warrington - on suspicion of theft in connection with the incident.
They remain in custody this afternoon.
A Cheshire Police spokesman said: “Around 7.08am on Monday, May 30, police were called to reports of theft of a motorcycle from an address on Moorside.
“Officers were deployed to the scene, and three youths were subsequently arrested in connection to the incident.
“The boys – aged 12,13 and 16 – have all been arrested on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle. The trio, who are all from the local area, are all being held in police custody where they are assisting officers with their enquiries.”
